FEELER GAUGE

A gauge consisting of a number of thin blades for measuring narrow gaps or clearance.
Precision
A feeler gauge is a tool used to measure gap width. Feeler gauges are mostly used in engineering to measure the clearance between two parts.
They consist of a number of small lengths of steel of different thicknesses with measurement marked on are all on the same hinge, several can be stacked together to gauge intermediate values. It is common to have two sets for imperial units (typically measured in thousandths of an Inch) and metric (typically in hundredths of a millimeter) measurement.
Types of feeler gauge:-
There are 6 types of feeler gauges:
    1.   GO NOGO feeler gauge
    2.  Straight leaf feeler gauge
    3.  Tapered feeler gauge
    4 .  Double ended gauge
     5.   Offset gauge
6.    Feeler strip
All varieties come with metric (mm), imperial (INCH) or both measurement inscribed.
 GO NOGO feeler gauge:
A GO NOGO feeler gauge is different to a regular feeler gauge as it differentiates between a thick base and a thinner tip.

 Straight leaf feeler gauge :
A straight leaf feeler gauge has lesves that are consistently parallel.

Tapered leaf feeler gauge:
A tapered leaf feeler gauge has leaves that thin out towards the tip.
 Imperial feeler gauge:
An imperial gauge gives measurements in thousandths of an inch.

Metric feeler gauge:
A metric gauge gives measurements in hundredths of a millimeter.

Combined imperial and metric feeler gauge:
Some feeler gauges combine both imperial and metric measurements   .
The measurements are often found on separate leaves at alternate ends of the tool. They can sometimes be found on the reverse side of the same leaf.

Feeler strips:
Feeler strips work identically to feeler gauge blades.
The exception is that are not connected in a set and either end can used to measure. They are separate for quick and easy use.

Offset blades:
Offset blades are bent toward the tip for easier access in most motor vehicle application and work in restrictive areas.

  1. Good Day.

I just want to ask if you have available PEELER GAUGE.
    Brand:Boker
    Other Specification/s: 0.10-2.0mm(20 Blatt).

    Thank you.
